BAKERS Eet-Sum-Mor shortbread has long been a South African tradition. The rich buttery Eet-Sum-Mor got its name in 1940 from the original Bakers man who, after tasting it, exclaimed "I really want to just eat some more and more!" Mr WG Carter, the biscuit sales manager at the time, replied: “Well, why not call the biscuit ‘Eat-some-more’,” which the Bakers man eventually changed to “Eet-Sum-Mor”. And the name stuck, because who can resist grabbing another mouthful of this deliciously rich and creamy shortbread biscuit...again and again and again!
